Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Lost in Touch. By checking the box on the sign-in screen, creating an account, or otherwise using the app, you agree to be bound by them. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
Zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users
Lost in Touch has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior of any kind. This includes, without limitation, harassment, hate speech, threats or incitement of violence, sexual content involving minors, and any content that exploits, endangers, or degrades another person.
We act on reports of this kind of content by removing the content and, where warranted, permanently removing the account responsible — typically within 24 hours of a report reaching us. See "How we moderate" below for specifics.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Lost in Touch to:
- Post, send, or share content that is sexually explicit involving minors, hateful, threatening, or intended to harass or bully another person.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with someone.
- Attempt to contact someone who has blocked you, or circumvent a block.
- Send spam, or use the app for any commercial solicitation.
- Attempt to access another user's account or interfere with the app's normal operation.
How we moderate
Lost in Touch is a closed, mutual-consent network — there are no public profiles or stranger discovery — which limits exposure by design. On top of that:
- Automatic filtering. Posts, check-in messages, and invite text are screened for known objectionable language before they're ever sent.
- User reports. Any post can be flagged, and any person you're connected with can be reported, directly from the app.
- Blocking. Blocking someone removes their content from your feed immediately, ends your connection, and prevents them from contacting you again.
- Developer review. Every report and block reaches us in real time. We review and act — removing content and/or the responsible account — within 24 hours.
Reporting & blocking
To report a post, use the "Report post" link under any post in your Feed. To block someone you're connected with, use the "Block" button on their entry in your In Touch list. Both ask you for a reason, which is included in what we review.
Your account
You're responsible for the content you post and the accuracy of the phone number you sign in with. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.
Disclaimer & liability
Lost in Touch is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Propersh LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including content posted by other users.
Changes to these terms
We'll update the "Last updated" date above when these terms change. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the update.
