Lost in Touch has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) — in any content, account, or conduct on the platform. This page explains what that means in practice and how to reach us.

Our commitment

We do not tolerate child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or the sexual exploitation of minors in any form, anywhere on Lost in Touch. This applies to every account, every post, every message, and every photo — no exceptions.

Propersh LLC is a U.S. company, and we comply with applicable U.S. child-safety law, including reporting apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children's CyberTipline as required under 18 U.S.C. § 2258A.

Who can use it

Lost in Touch is not directed at children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly allow them to hold accounts. Signing in requires a real phone number verified by SMS code — there are no anonymous or pseudonymous accounts.

Why the network is closed

Lost in Touch has no public profiles, no search or discovery of other users, and no algorithmic feed connecting strangers. Every connection starts with one person sending a request to a specific phone number, which the other person has to explicitly accept before either of you can see anything about the other. This is a deliberate design choice — it's built for staying in touch with people you already know, not for meeting new people — and it substantially limits the surface area for a child to be contacted by a stranger through the app.

Prohibited content & conduct

  • Any image, video, or text depicting or sexualizing a minor.
  • Grooming, solicitation, or any attempt to arrange sexual contact with a minor.
  • Using the app to contact or exploit a minor in any other way.

How to report a concern

Lost in Touch doesn't yet have an in-app "report" button — we're a small, actively developed app, and that's a gap we're aware of and plan to close. Right now, the way to reach us is directly by email, below. Tell us as much as you can: the account or phone number involved, and what you saw.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact local law enforcement or emergency services first — this email goes to the app's operator, not to police.

What happens next

  1. We review every report ourselves. Child-safety reports are treated as the highest priority we handle.
  2. If we confirm a violation, we remove the content and/or terminate the account immediately.
  3. Where legally required, we report apparent CSAM to the NCMEC CyberTipline and cooperate with law enforcement, including preserving relevant records as the law requires.
