Endgame Trainer

Privacy Policy

Last updated September 17, 2026

In short: Endgame Trainer itself doesn't collect or send us any personal data. There are no accounts and no logins. The only thing the app remembers is which studies you've already opened, and that list stays on your device.

The app shows ads through Google AdMob, which collects some device and usage data on its own behalf to serve and measure those ads. That part is described below, along with the choices you have over it.

What Endgame Trainer collects

Nothing that leaves your device. The app has no accounts, no sign-in, and no analytics or crash-reporting tools of its own. The chess engine (Stockfish) runs entirely on your device and never sends positions or moves anywhere.

The app keeps one small piece of local state: a list of which studies you've opened, stored in a database on your device, so the "unvisited only" filter works. It's never transmitted to us or anyone else, and it's deleted automatically if you uninstall the app.

What our advertising partner collects

Endgame Trainer displays ads served by Google AdMob. To choose, deliver, and measure those ads, Google may collect:

This data is handled under Google's own privacy policy, not ours — see Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Your choices

WhereWhat you can do
First launch, in the EU, UK, and a few other regions A consent screen lets you choose whether ads shown to you are personalized.
iOS The system's "Allow Tracking" prompt lets you decline cross-app tracking. Ads still show either way — declining just makes them non-personalized.
Android Settings → Google → Ads lets you reset or opt out of your advertising ID.
Any device adssettings.google.com lets you manage ad personalization across Google services generally.

Children's privacy

Endgame Trainer isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
